Places To Meet The Potential

Tea-o (corrected hehe)wrote :

Hey dr Lurve,

I just wondered if you know a good place to meet "potential" candidate?

Esp for a person who doesn't drink, don't like pubs, hate smokey places?

Prefers serene places?

Hello dear Tea-o (corrected), how have you been? The potential places that I usually recommend to my friends are CHURCH :-) In church there are a lot of activities like bible study or church band you could join. Eventually you may meet guys that may meet your criterias eh :-) Church usually has very strong network, thus chances of meeting nice soul are higher ;-)

Other places, are like

- Libraries;
- Friend's Birthday Parties;
- College Annual Alumni (if lucky some ex-schoolmate may be still single!);
- Charity works (many many nice souls there!).

OK, above are my list. Anymore out there, any readers care to give your comment? ;-)

Let's see:
1. bookshops.. Kinokuniya, Borders, mph

2. Starbucks or Coffee Beans.. pretend you are drinking coffee and reading the books you bought in (1). Remember not to be too into the book. You have to look up once a while and see if people are staring at you.. or you can stare at people. Tea-o = female or male?

3. Go out with friends who may bring friends

4. Internet dating?? ha ha ha

5. Join tour group. Travel..

The harder you look, the more you don't find. Just let it be, let life takes you where it wants to bring you.

Actually I kinda disagree about the church thingy.

Actually if you look at the ratio.. there are more gals who go to church rather than guys.

And in church bcoz of the ratio of girls being more than guys.. the Gals are damn ganas.

I sure lose hands down.

Hmmm... i was wondering whats the corrected stuff beside my nick?
(should I be insulted?)

Dr Love - I don't agree goin to church to meet guy/gal - the purpose of goin to church is to worship God - wrong intention may backfire :P

Hello all, thanks for all the comments. The reasons I mentioned church was because many of my ex-college mates met their couple in the church and became husband and wife. Do not get the wrong idea of making a church as a dating place ya. Besides receiving god's words you may also share the same interest with other fellow friends there.

About dating service, I had thought about it too, hahaha, I need more time to deal and think through with the dating service ;-)
